Today we went scuba diving out of town so I could dive a new site that is commonly used by shops and instructors south of us. This will help our students to become PADI certified. What a beautiful dive!!
It was beautiful, sunny and 10C with the water being only 32C. Visibility was AMAZING! Easily 25ft or so with a nice hard sand bottom and some underwater geographical features to look at.
The dive started out good but after about 12 minutes my reg froze and started to freeflow. This is why we teach safety and skills through repetitive practice. A certified scuba diver is taught to handle the freeflow calmly and end the dive. The path in and out is definitely not an easy one, the walk back up to the parking lot takes a lot of energy but the dive may just be worth it ;)
